It’s back to the World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Reef and the crystal-clear blue waters of the Indian Ocean for blog number seven. Most people visit Exmouth to explore the Ningaloo Marine Park. It’s an idyllic location, with some of the best beaches in the world.

There’s no two ways about it. If you love life on and under the water, you will feel right at home here in Exmouth, Western Australia. Thanks to the pristine crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean and a near-perfect all-year-round climate, it’s an ocean lover’s paradise.

Located in the north-west of Western Australia, Exmouth is probably most famous for being home to the incredible World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Reef, the largest fringing reef in the world. With magnificent multi-coloured coral reefs and spectacular marine life, it’s easy to see why it’s the jewel in Western Australia’s crown. So, let’s dive straight into what makes Exmouth a haven for marine lovers.

Ningaloo Caravan and Holiday Resort Blog: Must Do Walking Trails in Cape Range National Park

14 June 2022 by Kate

Cape Range National Park was the subject of my sixth blog for Ningaloo Caravan and Holiday Park. Having largely written about water-based activities and attractions, it was time to highlight an area of natural wonder on dry land.

As much as we know you love spending time in the water, there are plenty of adventures if you prefer to keep your feet on terra firma. No trip to Exmouth is complete without spending a bit of time exploring the natural wonders of Cape Range National Park. Whether you’re here for a few days, a week or longer.

Covering more than 50,000 hectares, you will find Cape Range National Park on the west side of Exmouth. In our, albeit biased opinion, it’s one of Australia’s most underrated National Parks. And at just a 45-minute drive to get there from Ningaloo Caravan and Holiday Park, there’s no excuse not to visit.

Cape Range National Park is fringed by some of the most beautiful beaches and crystal-clear blue waters the entire state of Western Australia has to offer. With breath-taking canyons, gorges, and ranges, the panoramic views within the park itself are epic. The National Park enjoys several walking trails, some easy, some more difficult. All of which offer bushwalkers an opportunity to take in the magnificent scenery of Cape Range National Park firsthand.

After a record-breaking summer here in Western Australia, we couldn’t be more excited now that March has arrived. Autumn brings slightly cooler temperatures and the first sightings of whale sharks in the World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Reef.

From March to July, locals and tourists make their way to Exmouth and Coral Bay for a once in a lifetime opportunity to see and swim with the world’s largest fish. Whale sharks are now back in Ningaloo, and the first tours of the season have officially started.

If swimming with whale sharks is on your bucket list, read on to find out everything you need to know about these majestic ocean giants. We have put together some answers to the most frequently asked questions from guests keen to experience swimming with whale sharks.

Ningaloo Caravan and Holiday Resort Blog: Best Dive Sites in the Ningaloo Marine Park

14 June 2022 by Kate

Continuing with the series of blogs for my Ningaloo Caravan and Holiday Park client. This, the third in the blog series, was written to promote tourism in and around Exmouth in Western Australia.

The World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Marine Park is home to the stunning turquoise waters of the Ningaloo Reef and its multiple world-class dive sites. Stretching more than 260 km along Western Australia’s beautiful coastline, it’s one of the largest fringing reef systems in the world and has over 200 documented dive sites.

Ningaloo Reef is famous for its whale sharks. It is not as well known as the Great Barrier Reef. But it is a magical underwater paradise and one of the best spots for scuba diving enthusiasts in Australia. A combination of abundant marine life and a highly accessible and pristine multi-coloured coral reef adds to its allure. To experience the very best of Ningaloo, we recommend visiting both Exmouth and Coral Bay. Read on to discover our suggestions of the must-do dives Exmouth has to offer.

Ningaloo Caravan and Holiday Resort Blog: 4 Must Visit Idyllic Beaches in Cape Range National Park

8 June 2022 by Kate

Turquoise Bay, Ningaloo
Turquoise Bay, Ningaloo

This is the second blog I was commissioned to write for my Ningaloo Caravan and Holiday Resort client in Western Australia.

There are many reasons to visit Exmouth in Western Australia. The area’s unbelievable natural beauty is one of the biggest drawcards when it comes to attracting locals and tourists. With 50 km of pristine beaches to explore – all magnificent in their own right – if you’re looking for the most beautiful beaches in Australia (we’d even go so far as to say the whole world!), we guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Close to Exmouth, Cape Range National Park is the main entry to the Ningaloo Marine Park and home to the whitest of white sand beaches. Not to toot our own horn, but it’s one of the best national parks in the country, never mind the west coast. Here you can swim, snorkel, sunbathe, and explore deserted beaches to your heart’s content. It’s a paradise for beach lovers, and the waters of Ningaloo Marine Park – WA’s answer to the Great Barrier Reef – are just as magical and mesmerising as they appear on Instagram.

If the idea of walking barefoot on whiter than white sand and swimming in crystal clear turquoise water makes your soul happy, read on as we reveal our top 4 must-visit beaches in Cape Range National Park.
