Events Go provides fully escorted holidays to Chengdu in South West China. An offshoot of the Perth-Chengdu Cultural and Economic Development Association, Events Go has been established to market Chengdu to West Australians. PCCEDA is a not-for-profit organisation and was established in 2015 to facilitate tourism, as well as economic and cultural exchanges between the City of Perth and the City of Chengdu.
Scope of work
Working with the web design company TAD Graphics, I provided copywriting and editing services for Events Go’s brand new website. The job involved rewriting and editing the copy provided by the tour operator. I also made suggestions to include a blog and utilise social media (Facebook and Instagram) to help the tour operator market their guided tours. I’ve very passionate about travel and tourism, which made this project all the more enjoyable. I hope to work with the company further, to provide blog content and social media marketing.
