Client

Wistow Cafe Bistro is a small, family-run cafe and bistro located in rural Leicestershire. The popular cafe started serving home cooked style food to their local community in 2007. They recently celebrated their 15th year in business and continue to go from strength to strength. 

Scope of work

I first started to work with Wistow Cafe Bistro in a social media management capacity. We discussed making changes to their website for a number of years. Eventually, we were able to give the cafe bistro’s website a long overdue makeover. Acting as a project manager, I worked with a local web designer who they engaged to design a brand new website. The work involved liaising with said web designer on content and design. I rewrote all of the existing content, as well as adding new pages and a blog section. More blog content will be added over time. 

Jacque Cyrille Jewellery

One of Perth’s most respected jewellery designers, Jacquie Cyrille started designing jewellery over 20 years ago. Based in Perth, Western Australia, Jacque Cyrille Jewellery produces stunning and unique statement pieces of jewellery to stand the test of time. 

Scope of work 

Tse Yin at web design company TAD Graphics approached me to provide content for a new website she was building for her client. It was quite an extensive job to deliver engaging and informative copy for the entire website.

Being an e-commerce website, the project also involved writing product descriptions for the online website. With hundreds of jewellery pieces needing to be added, it is likely to be an ongoing project. 

Ningaloo Caravan and Holiday Resort

Client

Based in Exmouth, Western Australia, Ningaloo Caravan and Holiday Resort provides a range of accommodation options to travellers visiting the region. A short drive from the World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Reef, the resort is the perfect base to explore the spectacular North West Cape. 

Scope of work

Ningaloo Caravan and Holiday Resort had a change of ownership in early 2021. Although the business had a website, it was old and in need of attention. The new owners wanted a new website to reflect their offerings and to promote their friendly, laid-back resort.

I worked with web designer Tse Yin at TAD Graphics to overhaul the content. I rewrote some of the exisiting copy and added completely new content. At the end of the project, Ningaloo Caravan and Holiday Resort have a modern, fresh new website they can be proud of. In addition to web copy, I was also commissioned to write a series of blogs for the website.

Brandon Hall Hotel and Spa

Client

The Brandon Hall Hotel and Spa is a 4-star hotel set in a beautiful rural setting, not far from Coventry in Warwickshire. Part of the Mercure group, the hotel has its own health club (the Brandon Health Club) and spa. Brandon Hall, a former 17th century shooting lodge, is also a popular wedding venue.

Scope of work

The Brandon Hall Hotel and Spa approached me to write blog content for several of their websites, including their main website as well as their health and leisure website (Brandon Health Club) and wedding website (Brandon Weddings). For the health club I will be providing a series of ongoing blogs related to health, fitness and exercise. Content for the wedding website is to showcase the wedding venue, while the main Brandon Hall Hotel and Spa website will focus on the hotel facilities to encourage more business through spa breaks and staycations.
